The Municipality of Volvi, as the beneficiary of the project “Green Urban Territories – Better Place to Live” / “GUT-BPL” successfully completed the series of training seminars on Green Entrepreneurship and Circular Economy, Biodiversity and Environmental Management Standards.
The GUT-BPL project is co-financed by the INTERREG VA Cooperation Program “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”.
The workshops were aimed at Youth, LAG Members (Local Action Groups), NGOs (Non-Profit Organizations), Stakeholders and Environmental Authorities.
The topics of the seminars and the dates were as follows:
o 1st Seminar: Environment – Circular Economy (Monday 14/03/2022)
o 2nd Seminar: Biodiversity (Monday 14 March 2022)
o 3rd Seminar: Environment – ISO Systems (Thursday 17/03/2022)
o 4th Seminar: Environment – Green Entrepreneurship (Thursday 17/03/2022)
The duration of each workshop was six (06) hours (16:00 – 22:00) and their monitoring was performed live observing all the necessary health protocols at the Mediterranean Palace Hotel (Salaminos 3 & Karatasou, Thessaloniki) A necessary condition for participation was the demonstration of a vaccination certificate or a coronavirus disease certificate valid for up to six (06) months from the diagnosis.
